Two students from Carnegie Mellon University established Nucleate Pittsburgh in 2022 to bridge the local Pittsburgh Universities.

By 2023, the team expanded to include PhD & Master’s students from Carnegie Mellon University, The University of Pittsburgh, and Duquesne University.
