Join us for the region’s premier biotechnology and life sciences competition, held at Bakery Square’s “AI Avenue.” Here, you will work with trainees and experts within our impact areas, tackle real-world problem statements from industry partners, compete for prizes with your team, and enjoy all that Bakery Square and the community has to offer! You do not want to miss this three-day event.

  • Students of any kind (undergraduate & graduate), trainees of any kind (post-docs & lab technicians), and general biotech enthusiasts.

  • Register by September 30th!

  • Not to worry! On Friday October 25th, you will have the opportunity to meet other trainees to form your team.

  • Absolutely! We highly encourage individuals to come with actionable problem statements they are currently working on.

  • Yes! We will be awarding funding & prizes for each track. Stay tuned for the announcement.

  • Of course! Teams will receive tickets upon registering to dine at many of the restaurants at BKSQ.

  • Teams must be between 3-5 people with at least one trainee enrolled at a University.

  • Bakery Square has plenty of parking to go around with not just one parking garage, but two! The South Garage has two points of entry/exit that can be accessed from Bakery Square Boulevard within the plaza or along Dahlem Place. The North Garage has a single point of entry/exit from Dahlem Place. Both parking garages have a High Occupancy Vehicle parking space as well as a Electric Vehicle parking spaces for those guests that may need to charge up.

  • Located at the intersection of several major bus routes and the East Liberty Transit Center, Bakery Square is very accessible by public transit!
